How to Upload an Image

Upload an Image to Content/Area Page

1. Head to your website backend (go to leads.realgeeks.com. Navigate to the settings section in the left menu bar and click "Edit Website") and click on “Content Pages” or “Area Pages”

2. Select the Page you’d like to update or click the “Add Content Page”  or “Add Area Page” in the top-right corner

3. Scroll down to the “Content” section

4. Click the “Insert/Edit Image” button

5. Select the “Source” button

6. Click the green “Upload” button and select the files from your computer 

7. Press “Insert” to add the photo to your content area (Click “Versions” to select a pre-determined image size)

8. Set the image dimensions and press “Ok”

Upload an Image to the Sidebar

1. Head to your website backend (go to home.realgeeks.com and click “Edit Website”) and click “Sidebars

2. Select the Sidebar you’d like to update or click the “Add Sidebar” button in the top-right corner

3. Scroll down to the last available Sidebar Item and press the “Custom “Content” Item Type

4. Click the “Insert/Edit Image” button

5. Select the “Source” button

6. Click the green “Upload” button and select the files from your computer 

7. Press “Insert” to add the photo to your content area (Click “Versions” to select a pre-determined image size)

8. Set the image dimensions and press “Ok”

Upload an Image to the Footer

1. Head to your website backend (go to home.realgeeks.com and click “Edit Website”) and click on “Footers”

2. Select the “Default Footer” or click the “Add Footer” in the top-right corner

3. Click the “Insert/Edit Image” button

4. Select the “Source” button

5. Click the green “Upload” button and select the files from your computer

6. Press “Insert” to add the photo to your content area (Click “Versions” to select a pre-determined image size)

7. Set the image dimensions and press “Ok”

Adding a Link to an Image

1. Click the photo you’d like to insert a link to (the image will become highlighted blue) then press the “Insert/Edit Link” button

2. Enter the URL of your intended target, or paste the link of your target destination (for example, copy the link of your Facebook page, and paste in the “URL” field)

3. IMPORTANT NOTE: To have the link open in a new internet browser tab, change the “Target” dropdown to “New Window”. This will open a new browser tab for your users so they can quickly jump back into your website. (REMEMBER: You worked hard to get them to your website, you don’t want to give them a way to easily leave)

4. Press “Ok”

Remove Link from a Photo

1. Click the photo that holds the link you’d like to change

2. Press the “Remove” link button

5. Press “Ok”
