What We Mean by Situational-Based Workflows
Situational-based workflows are follow-up workflows built around a specific lead situation. Instead of using one generic follow-up campaign for everyone, these workflows help you tailor communication based on what the lead is doing and what they need next.
Common examples include:
- A buyer who signs up to view active homes, continues using your website, but does not respond to texts, calls, or emails
- A seller who requests a home valuation but is not ready to list or move forward yet
- An out-of-market buyer researching neighborhoods, pricing, and timing before planning a move
- A past client or long-term lead who becomes active again on your website after a long period of inactivity
Use this anytime you find yourself thinking, “I have leads like this and I want a better way to follow up with them.”

- If you don’t see the situation you need, ask ChatGPT to generate additional options or describe your situation directly.
- Review the generated workflow and request edits if needed.
- Copy the workflow details into a custom Workflow step by step in the Real Geeks Lead Manager.
