Session Recap
The February Ask Us Anything session, hosted by Michael, Crystal, and Chuck, focused on exciting new automation features inside the Real Geeks CRM, including a powerful update to Workflows and the official launch of Google One Tap. The team also covered best practices for tagging, lead clean-up, compliance, and post-close follow-up strategies.
This session was packed with tips on how to better organize your database, increase your lead conversion, and make smarter use of automated tools—without losing the personal touch that drives relationships in real estate.
Key Topics Covered
Automated Tagging in Workflows, coming April 14
The latest update to Real Geeks workflows allows agents to automatically apply one or more custom tags to leads based on workflow steps. This helps agents stay organized and build smarter filters for follow-up.
Tagging Strategies & Organization Tips
The team demonstrated how to use tags like sticky notes or labels—segmenting leads by city, property needs, life events, or even personal interests. Tags can now be applied manually or automatically through workflows.
Workflow Enhancements Coming Soon
The team previewed two upcoming workflow features in development: (1) the ability to update a lead’s status within a workflow and (2) the ability to trigger a new workflow after another ends. Both will give agents more control over lead nurture paths.
Google One Tap Now Live
A new lead registration feature, Google One Tap, makes it easier for website visitors to sign up using their Google account—resulting in more verified emails and increased conversion. Leads who don’t complete the phone number field are still captured and can be nurtured using email workflows.
Managing Unsubscribes & Contact Preferences
The team explained how Real Geeks automatically handles SMS compliance, including STOP responses and opt-outs. They also shared tips for identifying bad contact info, marking numbers as invalid, and continuing long-term nurture without direct outreach.
Keeping in Touch After Closing
For closed clients, agents were encouraged to create a custom tag and workflow for post-close follow-up, birthdays, or annual check-ins. Market Reports, postcards, and automated workflows were all recommended to stay top of mind and boost referrals.
Website Engagement Boosters
The session also previewed next week’s Ask the Expert with Erin Alls, who will share SEO strategies to help agents increase free traffic to their Real Geeks websites using blogs, content optimization, and Google best practices.
