Connect Real Geeks and iCloud Contacts with API Nation

 

The Real Geeks and iCloud Contacts integration keeps your contacts synced between your CRM and your iPhone. When connected, your contacts stay up to date automatically—so your caller ID, texts, and follow-up are always accurate.

What This Sync Does

  • Sync iCloud Contacts to your Real Geeks Lead Manager

  • Sync Real Geeks leads to your iCloud Contacts

  • Keep contact info updated in both systems

  • Ensure caller ID shows the correct name when leads call or text

You can activate one or both sync directions for the same flat rate.

How to Set It Up

1. Start the Sync

Go to:
https://my.apination.com/apps/realgeek/icloud_contacts

Click Activate on the sync direction you want:

Sign in or create an API Nation account.

2. Connect Real Geeks

  1. Click Connect Real Geeks

  2. Copy your personal API Nation Authorization Key

  3. Go to https://leadrouter.realgeeks.com/outgoing and select your website

  4. Under API Nation, click Connect 

  5. Paste the API Nation Authorization Key

  6. Select a User to Assign Leads to

  7. Click Save

  8. Return to API Nation and click Test Connection

3. Connect iCloud

  1. Click Connect iCloud

  2. Log in with your Apple ID

  3. Create an App-Specific Password at appleid.apple.com

  4. Paste the password into API Nation

4. Activate the Sync

  • Choose whether to sync past contacts or only new ones

  • (Optional) Map additional fields

  • Click Activate Sync

Repeat the process if you’d like to enable the sync in the opposite direction.

Managing Your Syncs

In API Nation, go to My Syncs to:

  • View active syncs

  • Turn syncs on or off anytime
