Get Your Team Started: Add Agents to the CRM and Assign Leads in Real Geeks
Learn how to add your team to the Real Geeks Lead Manager, set permissions, and assign leads so your agents can start working new opportunities right away.
Getting your Real Geeks CRM set up is the first step toward turning your leads into real opportunities. One of the most important parts of that setup is giving your team access to the Lead Manager so they can start connecting, following up, and closing deals.
In this quick guide, you’ll learn how to add your agents, set their permissions, and confirm your lead assignment settings so everyone is ready to start working new leads right away.

Step 1: Add Your Team Members to the CRM
Once you are logged into your Lead Manager, follow these quick steps to add a new user:

Enter the user’s email address and click Check Real Geeks.

If they do not already have an account, you will be asked to enter their name and phone number.

Click Add User to create their profile.
 
The user will receive a welcome email and instructions to help them set up their account and log in to the Lead Manager.
Agent didn't Receive the Welcome Email?
Go to leads.realgeeks.com and click Forgot My Password to set up their account.
You will be taken to their profile page automatically, where you can start updating their profile information or adjusting their permission levels. See Step 2 below for more details.
Step 2: Adjust Your team's Permission Levels
When you add a new agent or lender, their default permissions allow them to see and manage only the leads that are assigned to them. Be sure to review your lead assignment settings in the CRM (see Step 3 below) to make sure new leads are being directed to your agents.
The default permissions allow agents to actively work their database and communicate with leads effectively. Additional permissions can be granted depending on their role within your organization.
Here is a quick breakdown of the permissions you can enable:
| Permission | What It Does |

| Admin | Gives full access to everything in the CRM, just like the site owner. | 
| Team Leader | Can reassign leads and edit agent information but cannot change main account settings. | 
| Notifications | Lets the user turn on or off the alerts they want to receive. | 
| Round Robin Availability | Lets the user make themselves available or unavailable for new leads. | 
| Delete Leads | Allows the user to remove leads from the system. | 
| Export Leads | Lets the user download lead lists from the CRM. | 
| Lead Source | Allows the user to create new lead source labels for tracking. | 
| EBlasts | Lets the user send group emails to leads. | 
| Buyers List | Lets the user see all leads in the CRM while keeping contact details hidden. | 
💡 Pro Tip: Review each permission before enabling it. Giving agents only what they need keeps your CRM organized and secure.
Step 3: Confirm Your Lead Assignment Settings
Your lead assignment has already been set up for you. It is always a good idea to double-check the settings to make sure everything matches how you want your company to run.

Go to the CRM Lead Assignment page.

Use the Type menu at the top of the page to review or change your lead assignment method.

Here are the options you can choose from:- 
Round Robin: Evenly distributes new leads automatically between all agents who are available.

Manual Assignment: Lets you assign leads yourself directly from your lead list.
 - 
Weighted Round Robin: Works like the regular round robin but gives certain agents a higher weight so they receive more leads, helping you balance workloads or reward top performers.

Make any small adjustments as needed to match your preferences (all changes are saved automatically)
 
Their user status will be set to either Available or Not Available to receive leads. These can be adjusted at any time to fit your team’s needs.
💡 Pro Tip
Even if your lead assignment is already active, check your agents’ round robin availability to ensure everyone who should be receiving leads is marked as available.
