Best Practices

To get the most return from sharing a post to your website from Facebook:

Share Links to Listings or Search Pages

Use your website's Address Search to find listings

Use your website's Advanced Search to send leads to a results page!

Use your Personal Facebook Profile

Post where you will get the best chance at results. Agents typically have more friends on Facebook than like their business page.

Additionally, some friends may not "like" your page so you could be missing out on potential leads by only posting there

Please note: you can still post to your business page, but you may reach a smaller audience if you ONLY post there

Ask for likes, shares and comments

Post interactions can boost the amount of people that see it. By sharing or commenting on a post, that friend is sharing their interests to their own feeds and friends lists

If a person is tagged, reply to the tagged person and invite them to log in or create an account for them. This is a potential referral opportunity

When you get their permission, add them as a lead then, save a search for them. Check out our training guide on setting up a saved search/property update emails for clients HERE

Develop a consistent posting schedule

Once every 1-2 weeks is recommended for maximum coverage

The more eyes that see the post regularly, the more likely they are to use the tools

Avoid posting the same item twice. For example, don't post a link to 123 Main Street if that was last week's post
