Develop a custom valuation page to promote home evaluations in your specific market and optimize your page to grow your brand’s reach.
Overview
Valuation Pages are a customizable resource that allow your leads to perform a valuation on their property in a page catered to a specific location in your market. These pages offer more customization options, separate from your primary Valuation Landing Page, empowering you to provide a unique home estimate experience by area.
Optimize your website’s Search Engine Optimization (SEO) by generating unique valuation pages. Incorporate custom keywords and descriptions that identify the areas you operate out of, and personalize the content for each page to cater to various locations in your market.

Building Your Page
Identify your page and improve your page SEO by adding information to your Page Details.
Parent (optional)
Parent is a tool to make website navigation easier, and improve search engine recognition. The parent function lets you organize your pages by topic. The page being created would be relevant to the primary topic of your content, and would be the “child” of your primary “parent” page.
Imagine the parent page as a book. Any page assigned with a particular parent page is like a chapter in that book. This helps you organize your website so readers can easily find content.
Please note that the Parent list is pulled from pages that have already been created on your website.
Example
If you were making a page about home evaluations in Dallas, Texas, your URL might look like: www.yourwebsite.com/dallas/home-evaluation. In this context, 'dallas' is the parent and 'home-evaluation' is the slug of your custom valuation page.
It shows that this valuation is based in the city of Dallas. Any future pages about Dallas would also use 'dallas' as the parent in their URLs.
Anchor Text/Page Name
This field is used to internally name your page. You can search for the page using this name in your website editor. We recommend keeping the Anchor Text short and simple to make it easier to search for.
Slug
A "Slug" is the part of a web page's address that comes after the main site name. It's usually a few words or a short phrase that describes the content of the page.
For example, in the URL "www.yourwebsite.com/dallas-valuation", "dallas-valuation" is the page slug. It informs the browser about which page to visit on your website.
Header Text
This will display a custom title that customers can view at the top of the page. Use it to introduce your page and it’s purpose for using on your website.
Page Title
The page Title identifies the webpage online. It appears in the tab of the viewer's browser and also in search results on search engines like Google or Bing.
Meta Description
A meta description is a brief 1-2 sentence summary of your page's content. It appears on search engines like Google or Bing, enticing readers to visit your website.
Meta Keywords
Meta keywords help identify the keywords or phrases that users might use on search engines to find a website. This increases the chances of the page showing up in search engine results for these terms.
Search Box Headline
Customize the text that appears as your lead enter’s their address to receive a custom evaluation. This space is designated as a call to action to entice your leads to interact with the tool.
Personalize it to your custom market by adding the area name.
Example Search Address
Include a sample address from the location you're developing to guide your leads in correctly inputting their address information.
Override Landscape Image or Video
Add a custom image or short video that will serve as the background image your user sees when visiting the page. Typically, you want to use an image that represents the area you are marketing.
- Use the Gallery Image or Video library to access a library of free media from Real Geeks that can be used on the page.
- Upload a Custom Image or Video to add a custom image to the page.
- Hide Landscape Section will remove the image and leave a blank page as the background while the lead enters their address information.
- Use default will use the primary image of your website. This can be updated in your website settings under the Template Options menu.
Landscape Image Override Alt Text is an SEO resource. Alt text appears when an image fails to load, and is used by screen-reading tools to descibre an image for visually impaired users and improve the accessibility of your website.
Keep this text brief, but descriptive.
When you’re done customizing your page, click Save to create the page. Click Save and Continue Editing to continue making tweaks to your page.
After saving the page, you can click View on Site to view the page content on your website to review the changes made to your page.
FAQ
Why did my lead not receive an estimate right away?
The home valuation tool relies on historic sold data and public records to formulate an estimate on a particular property. If there is not enough nearby data to put together an estimate, the lead will not be sent a message and instead will be prompted with a message saying that the agent will be reaching out shortly. This will simultaneously notify you so you can put together a report and reach out to them
