Connect Real Geeks with LionDesk to sync leads and website activity automatically

This integration supports only one account and should be completed by the Site Owner/Admin.
Real Geeks integrates with LionDesk so leads captured through your Real Geeks website can automatically appear inside your LionDesk account. This connection helps you keep contact information and website activity synced between both systems so you can manage communication and follow up using LionDesk while still benefiting from the lead capture and tracking tools in your Real Geeks platform.

Setup Prerequisites
Before connecting Real Geeks and LionDesk, you will need your LionDesk API key.
To find your LionDesk API key:

Go to liondesk.com and log into your account

Click Settings
-
Select 3rd Party Integrations
-
Locate Real Geeks under 3rd Party API Keys

Click Enable
-
Copy the generated API key
You will use this key when connecting LionDesk through Lead Router.

Connect Real Geeks to LionDesk
Once you have your LionDesk API key, you can connect LionDesk to your Real Geeks system.

Go to leadrouter.realgeeks.com
-
Click Configure Destinations
-
Select your website
-
Locate LionDesk in the destination list and click Connect

Paste your LionDesk API key
-
Make sure Active is checked
-
Click Save
Your Real Geeks website is now connected to LionDesk.
Leads will continue to appear in your Real Geeks CRM, and updates to contact information or activity will sync to LionDesk automatically.

Add Existing Real Geeks Leads to LionDesk
New leads will automatically sync once the integration is connected.
If you want your existing Real Geeks database inside LionDesk, you can import those contacts manually.
Steps:

Export your leads from your Real Geeks Leads List

Download the exported file
-
Follow LionDesk instructions to import contacts into LionDesk
Once imported, those contacts will appear alongside the new leads being synced from Real Geeks.

Using Real Geeks and LionDesk Together
You can choose whether lead assignment happens in Real Geeks or in LionDesk.
For the best tracking experience, LionDesk recommends managing round robin lead assignment inside LionDesk. The LionDesk API does not fully track lead activity if the assignment happens inside Real Geeks first.
If you prefer to assign leads in Real Geeks, follow the steps below.
Step 1 Configure Round Robin in Real Geeks

Go to leads.realgeeks.com

Click Settings

Select Lead Assignment

Under Agent Round Robins choose Property Search

In the Type dropdown select Round Robin

Set each participating agent to Available
-
Repeat this process for the Property Valuation and Third Party Sources tabs
Step 2 Add Each Agent API Key in Lead Router

Go to leadrouter.realgeeks.com

Select the website you want to configure
-
Each participating agent provides their LionDesk API key to the site owner
-
The site owner creates a new destination for each agent
Destination settings

API Key: Enter the agent LionDesk API key

User: Select the matching Real Geeks user
-
Should leads wait to be assigned before sending: Select Yes wait for assignment

Active: Checked
Click Save once the destination is configured.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will leads still appear in my Real Geeks CRM?
Yes. The integration sends a copy of the lead information to LionDesk but your leads remain inside your Real Geeks CRM. -
Does LionDesk show website activity from Real Geeks?
Yes. Searches, favorites, saved searches, and messages can appear inside the LionDesk Contact Activity Timeline under Website Activity. -
Do existing leads sync automatically?
No. Only new leads sync automatically after the integration is connected. Existing leads must be exported from Real Geeks and imported into LionDesk. -
Can I assign leads using Real Geeks round robin?
Yes. However LionDesk tracking works best when the round robin assignment is handled inside LionDesk.
