Send filtered leads from your Real Geeks CRM directly to Mailchimp audiences
Mailchimp is a third-party email marketing platform that allows you to send newsletters, automate campaigns, and manage large email lists. By connecting Mailchimp to your Real Geeks CRM, you can automatically send selected leads to Mailchimp audiences and keep your marketing lists up to date.
Once connected, you can use CRM filters to export groups of leads to Mailchimp and maintain synchronized audiences for ongoing email campaigns.

Connect Real Geeks to Mailchimp
To link your Real Geeks CRM to your Mailchimp account:

Open the CRM Integrations page (Settings > Integrations)

Click Click Here to Link to Mailchimp.

Enter your Mailchimp account email and password.

Follow the prompted steps to authorize the connection.
Once authorized, your Real Geeks CRM will be connected to Mailchimp and ready to export leads.
Send Leads to a Mailchimp Audience
You can send specific groups of leads to Mailchimp using the CRM’s Advanced Filters. Filters allow you to organize leads based on shared characteristics such as location, lead status, tags, or recent activity.
This helps ensure your Mailchimp campaigns are sent to the most relevant contacts.
To export leads to Mailchimp:

Go to your Leads List in the CRM.

Apply an Advanced Filter to identify the leads you want to export.

Click Export.

Select the Mailchimp audience where the leads should be added.

Click Next.

Click Export to complete the process.
Your selected leads will immediately transfer to the chosen Mailchimp audience.
Any new leads that match the same filter criteria will automatically sync to Mailchimp as well, keeping your lists updated without needing to repeat the export.
Manage or Remove Mailchimp Exports
If you no longer want a group of leads to automatically sync to Mailchimp, you must delete the active export connection.
To remove an export:

Go to the Third-Party Integrations page in your Real Geeks CRM.

Locate the Mailchimp export rule you want to remove.

Click Delete next to that export.

Confirm the deletion.
Once removed, new leads will no longer sync to that Mailchimp audience.
Troubleshooting Mailchimp Exports
If leads are not appearing in Mailchimp, the most common reason is email validation.
Mailchimp performs its own verification when importing contacts. If an email address appears invalid or suspicious, Mailchimp may automatically reject the contact.
Because this validation happens inside Mailchimp, some exported leads may not appear in your audience even though the export was successful.
